Can I use AIN block to read port 2 form additional DO-DCM communication port on DL06 PLC? I programmed communication parameter in lader logic but I can not set the port number in AIN. Only port 2 form integrated communication port is allowed in AIN blok.

How then can I receive ASCII data from DO-DCM on DL-06 PLS? I need to communicate with weather station and the integrated port is already occupied.

The F0-CP128 BASIC CoProcessor could be programmed to interface to your ASCII device. Note that the function of the F0-CP128 is dictated entirely by the BASIC program that you write and load into the module. This is not a plug and play module.
