I am new to using automation. I am using a dl205 with a 260cpu with an erm modual and a ecom 100 to connect to 4 e-drv cards and 4 gs2 drives. I cannot get Directsoft to recognize the cpu or to get communications established. Netedit does see all of the components.

I assume you are trying to use DirectSOFT and make a link to the H2-ECOM100 module. (It can't connect to the H2-ERM, nor the EDRV). So, when you attempt to make a link, exactly what error message are you getting? Also, if you can see the H2-ECOM100 in NetEdit, you can right-click on it and select "CPU Test " from the menu. What result do you get there?
