Is it possible to capture ascii data on a DL05 through the rs232 port? I would like to capture the data from a card reader and store in a register then compare it to a table of values to see if the card is valid?

Okay. Thanks for the info. Guess I should have asked the question before we bought a DL05. I will order an 06 and see what I can do.

What kind of "Card Reader " are you going to use?

I have found a great Hid Prox card reader from a company Called RFideas. It decodes the card data to ascii. I then plan to use the ascii data to compare to a stored table of values. If the data matches the output will go true.
