Does anyone know if it is possible to connect a PC running think &do to a remote winPLC through a leased line? Actualy we have 5 such remote stations that need to be connected through leased lines.

Blackbox corp has a device for connecting ethernet to a phone line (dry-pair) but you are still limited to the 100 meter limit. If you are needing to have any distance try the ethernet radio system that is at www.grayhill.com. It supports ethernet out to 15 miles and the units can serve as repeaters to extend the range even further.

Figure on $2000 per unit minumum to get the system up and running.

If you are really serious about connecting to that many systems without going radio you might consider if available installing a DSL line in each location then you could interconnect them via ethernet over DSL.

I am trying to use a couple of MultiModemZBA modems on a leased line, with some success but with a lot of errors and retries. Would you mind sharing what AT commands you are using, baud rate, protocol? Any information would be helpful. Thanks!
