I 've got a new SL9696RRE I am trying to setup in Prog mode (ramp/soak) pattern, and I ran into something I cannot explain or solve. I am using this in Heat+Cool (H1C2). When I run it under regular PID control, everything works as expected. For a large temp differential, both the Heating and Cooling duty cycles start at 100% (full on), and then go into proportional when they get close to the SV. That is all fine. However, when I run in Prog mode the Heating cycle still goes to 100% as needed for full on, but the Cooling cycle seems to be limiting to a max 50% duty cycle. Even with a 200C temp differential between SV,PV the Cooling never goes higher than 50% duty cycle. That is wrong. I know the menus and parameters pretty well. I 've tried changing things but this 50% max limited Cooling duty cycle under Prog mode never changes. Either I am missing something and there is some trick, or this looks like a firmware bug to me. I 've looked on the site and I do not see any firmware upgrades. Anybody know anything about this? Chris.
