Is there any info on the how/what/where/etc on setting up a GS2 to perform PID control? I am going to be using one for level control using a 4-20MA level transmitter as feedback. The control willl be a cetrifigal pump pumping out of a reservoir. I cannot seem to find much info or how to videos on this.

Depending upon the drive and PID application, I use these parameters to get going.

Adjusting the Accel, Decel, Gain, Integral, and Derivative as necessary

    P1.01 (5) Accel

    P1.02 (5) Decel

*** This is where the 4-20 ma transmitter should go.

    P4.00 Source of Frequency Command

Set Drive DIP Switch to 10-0Vdc or 4-20ma

    (02) 0-10Vdc AVI

    (03) 4-20ma AVI

P4.05 Loss of ACI signal 4-20 ma

    (00) Decelerate to 0Hz

    (01) Stop Immediately and display EF

    (02) Continue Operation by the last frequency Command

P4.11 Analog Output Signal Current A Signal

    (1) Output 0-10 Vdc

    (2) Output 4-20 ma

P4.12 (100) Analog Output Signal Gain

    P7.00 PID Setting

Set Drive DIP Switch to 10-0Vdc or 4-20ma

    (00) Inhibit PID Operation

    (01) FWD Acting PID Feedback from AVI 0-10Vdc

    (02) FWD Acting PID Feedback from AVI 4-20 ma

    (03) REV Acting PID Feedback from AVI 0-10Vdc

    (04) REV Acting PID Feedback from AVI 4-20 ma

    P7.01 (100.0) PV 100% Value

    P7.02 (00) Pid Setpoint Keypad

    P7.10 (XX.X) Pid Setpoint 0-999

Change PID Settings – Gain, Integral, and Derivative as necessary

    P7.20 (1.00) PID Proportional 0.00 -10.0

    P7.21 (1.00) PID Integral 0.00 – 100.0 (00.00 = Disabled)

    P7.22 (1.00) PID Derivative 0.00 – 1.00

    P7.25 (110) PID Freq Limit 0-110%
