Hi I am looking for DC drive(motor 3HP), it should handle very well constant speed with changing torque, i tryed KB it didn't work well, personally i would go with Control Technique but the cheapest is over $2000, my budjet is $1000 max. Thanks.

You may want to look at Carotron or Dart drives. If speed regulation is important you may need encoder feed back to the drive. Carotron has options for web line feed back and other application. Just call them they are very helpful.
