I'll keep this simple: My last installation last year was a GS3 drive running in the sensorless vector mode. Part of the setup was the "auto tune " procedure. I know the GS2 (and the GS1, for that matter) are V/Hz drives and do not have a sensorless vector mode. Am I correct in assuming that the GS2 does not require the "tuning "? The GS2 is being used in a much simpler, less demanding and far less critical application than the GS3 is. However, the GS2 will be located approximately 50 feet from the motor (1 hp, 240 volts, dedicated wiring in conduit for most of the run).
