GS2 with braking resistor

I have a 4 station turntable utilizing a motor driven with a GS2. We have had a problem with not being able to run the motor over a crawl and keep position. My first thought for a solution was to put in the braking resistor. I ordered it and installed it. The resistor doesn't even get warm. My question is: Is there any reason why the drive wouldn't sense the presence of the resistor? Is there anything that I need to set for the resistor? And I did Ohm the resistor and it came out at 400Ohms. Thanks in advance. Mike

What is the Gear Ratio between the motor and the turning of the table? What is the top speed required of the motor and the rated top speed of the motor? What is the diameter of the dial?

    Try setting P6.04 and P6.05 to 1.

P6.04 as 1 disables the automatic voltage regulation.

P6.05 as 1 disables the overvoltage stall prevention.
