I have a GS2 AC Drive that I want to automatically start running on power up. Is there any way to do this in the programming? Or am I going to have to add a relay contact/switch?

Use parameter P6.30, and set it to 1, which disables the "start lockout ".

The AC drive will start when powered up, while the RUN command is already applied.

You can do a jumper between DCM and DI1, for example, to keep the RUN command always ON.

Thanks Tech Guy! Exactly what I need. I have a machine that needs to run on power on each time without intervention.

    Thanks again!
