Productivity Suite 3.6.1.2 strings breaking data view
I have an odd issue with the productivity suite and would like to see if anyone else has this issue.
When trying to edit a string in data view it does not let me fire out the edit for the string. While the string is present in data view it will not let me fire out edits in data view for other tags as well. When I remove the string tag from the data view everything returns to normal and i can fire out edits as I have always done.
What firmware? CPU?
Can you post a minimal reproducible project?
it is a P1-540 and I tried updating the firmware and it did not solve the issue
I believe i figured out the root cause though and it has nothing to do with strings. It only seem to act up if I do sorting in the data view. if the tag names stay in the order I added them everything seams to work. when I sort by tag name or data type is when the edits are not fired out in data view.
Ouch, is column sorting still an issue in dataview?
I have had similar problems with editing an array of integers in version 3.7.0.10. It will not let me apply an edit to any of the integers in the array. If I turn on the Auto Update feature for Data View, it starts working. What is going on here?
try clicking OFF the edited cell, then full send using the (where's) waldo hat.
