Ver 2.20 In a CLICK rung comment, is a single-quote/apostrophe a special character? I have the text 'Added ' in a rung comment. If I double-click on the Added string, the trailing single-quote becomes the selected text. I would expect Added to be the selected text.

I seriously doubt it is 'special ' to the CLICK software, I imagine it is an "undocumented feature " of one of the functions in some library called by one of the functions called by one of the functions in some other library called by some function in yet another library called by some function called by the runtime engine of the software used to write the CLICK software. Note that the CLCIK installation program is considerably larger than an entire capacity of an average hard drive 30 years ago. You have to expect some weirdness when no human can keep track of what is really going on.
I, for one, welcome our new machine overlords!

True wrt hdd caps.
my first (ST225) was ~20MB.
Thought I'd never fill it.
The special character remark was tongue-in-cheek. BUT the end result is annoying.

I just confirmed this and it's certainly unexpected, and an unwanted "feature " :) If it were part of a library (function call), it's broken at the most basic level. Standard Windows libraries should be used unless functionality is improved. I'm always amazed at the level developers will go to make things work more poorly than if they had left things at default. Windows standard is to select the text inside double-quotes, and select all of the text including single-quotes.

It goes back back to v1.40 - just tested
It is probably a borland (or maybe TNT) oversight - but still unexpected and unwanted
I checked for similar actions in other places in the software.

It does seem to be a special character to Delphi/TPascal/ObjectPascal inasmuch as it is used to escape another single quote to appear as a single single-quote
I don't mean for this post to be argumentative, just FYI
It seems that CLICK is written in CBUILDER(++)/DELPHI/or variant and uses some TNT unicode libs.
