Hello all, I have a ClickPLC _C000DRD.And is my first PLC. Will be using it to handle the tool change sequence on my Vertical Mill machine. I know how i need the tool change sequence to work and have all inputs and outputs connected but need help on programming the PLC. Right now i have been looking for examples on 2 things. 1. How can one output be turned on with a momentary input? 2. How can program be made to run one Rung and wait for an input before continuing onto the next Rung? Obviously there will be a lot more to this program ,but for now i need to see an example of these 2 scenarios before i can start to get my head around it. :) Thanks in advance for any help, Troy

1. Use a memory bit
.
. X1 C1
.--------]
There may be reasons for or against sealing an output with its own memory. That is up to you to decide.
2. I would not use the concept of a PLC program making a Rung wait to run. In a scnned PLC - all enabled rungs are executed/evaluated (RUN) all the time.
I would suggest some sort of sequence/state machine. I have posted several examples of a plc state machine. The examples that I have posted (usually) can execute on any ladder-based PLC.
Others may suggest other methods. They are as valid as any other.
Try something like this.
. Start INIT Step1
. C1 C99 C100
