Hi all. New to this forum and PLCs. Question on wiring output power. I have the Click C0-00DD1-D. I am using a 20V power supply. I made the trainer like in the videos and my input lights work as well as output lights when I flip switches in accordance with a little program I have installed. Problem is I cannot seem to figure out how to wire my outputs. Can I use same input power to power outputs? Common to common power to+V? Have done this but no output to an LED I am using. Using a resistor to drop voltage for the LED. Have looked at the wiring diagrams in the manual but do not really understand elec. drawings yet. I am an old millwright trying to learn something very new to me. Steep learning curve. Thanks for all your time and help.

Power -> Dropping resistor -> Anode LED - Cathode LED -> output (eg Y1)

    Or

Yes but the commons (C1, C2, C3 and C4) all need to be connected to 0V, and your +20V to +V. Then the (resistor and LED)s can go between +20V and any of the Ys you activate, see bcarlton's post.

Thanks guys. It was a sinking/sourcing problem.

Couldn't get Pos to Pos out of my head.

    And had to reverse LEDs.
