Hello!!! Can you help me with this problem? I have PLC controller COYO CLICK C0-02DD2-D and two variable speed drivers ( Schneider ATV312H055M2 , Schneider ATV312HU40N4 ). I use modbus protocol to communicate between them, via RJ45 cable (port 3). Now, I want to give some value of frequency for my speed drivers. For that I use touch panel HMI WEINTEK which provides communication with PLC, via RS232 (port 2) . It is less important now. Can you explain me, what Slave ID of serial device, Modbus Function Code , Addressing Type, Starting Slave Address, Starting Master Address I need to enter in my PLC, for Schneider ATV312 ? And also can you tell me something about Com Port Setup Details for this problem?

Is there a Modbus supplement to the drive? I looked up the manual on Google, and unlike the GS drives, there is no chapter on operating via Modbus, other than page 98, that lists Modbus communication parameters. Personally, I just did an application using a Yaskawa drive, and they had a Modbus supplement. If you can point where you found 8605, it would be a help.

But still nothing. On ATV312 screen appears SLF message error. It is MODBUS error.

Maybe the address is ok, and I making mistake at Modbus Function Code , Addressing Type, Com Port Setup Details ?

One notice, both diodes are flashing on port 3 ( TX3, RX3 ).

How do you have each node configured? Can you post screenshots for each device configuration?

Some devices (such as the AD SOLO temperature controllers parameter CoSH P3-12 = ON) require that you ENABLE communications with the device. Does the ALTIVAR?

In the COMMS VARIABLES manual, I keep seeing references to LAC with comments that certain levels of LAC enable setting params by modbus:

    See pp. 35,36

Addr 3006 WRT Address 8413, 8414 and 8411. 8411,8413 and 8414 have properties that, when LAC = L2 or L3, enable setting by Modbus.

I don't have an ALTIVAR drive, so I cannot test any of this.

it may be hex addressing ?

I didn't see any hex values in the register address list, so maybe not.
