Just trying out a Click PLC. Pretty nice little unit. However, does anyone know how to connect to the reset input on a counter? I have managed to do it by clicking around enough with the line editor, but I can't do it repeatedly. What is the precise procedure?

I entered the count contact in column 'A ', entered the counter, then entered the reset contact in column 'A ' opposite the indicated 'Reset ' point on the counter. Once the contact is entered I used the line completion (in my case CTRL-Right Arrow) to connect. Seems to work.

    That works

Thanks, that works. I was trying to draw the line first back from the reset input on the counter. Could never get the line tool to repeatedly connect to that input.

    Hello hartwg,

Sorry, we can not draw a line from the reset input of the Counter instruction yet. This will be fixed in the future revision.

For now, please use the method that bcarlton suggested.

Thank you bcarlton for your quick response. That is just amazing!!

    Thanks, very nice PLC

Thanks for the support followup. I'm very impressed with this PLC. There is quite a bit of power there for it's size. An excellent value. I know the there has been some questions about battery backup, from my experience the super capacitor will maintain the memory at least overnight. My requests for the future would include: Analog I/O, 24v AC inputs, and Ethernet support.
