I'm trying to find the CLICK! equivalent of the SP contacts that allow you to tell when an analog input is an open circuit. I 've got mine set to 4-20 mA input scaled from 4 to 20 and it reads 4 mA when the wires are disconnected. Any ideas? -Jeremy

Do you happen to have 'Enable Range Limiter ' turned on? If it is on and you turn it off maybe you test for a below minimum value state.

I do have the range limiter turned on, but it's not doing anything. I 've got a full range 4-20 signal scaled from 4 to 20 and the limiter only works on the output. Even with it disabled when the wires are unhooked, I get a display of 4 in dataview.
I thought about setting the range from 0 to 20 but when you set the range, it won't let you set the analog input below 4 mA. If you set it to anything below, it gives you an error and reminds you that you have to stay between 4 and 20.
