Hi, can the Click triac output module (C0-08TA) be used to drive small contactors directly without external snubbers or such like? The diagram in the manual shows what looks like a VDR across the contacts which I'm thinking may be enough protection. I 've looked in the manual and it covers relay outputs but not triacs. Thanks!

Always use external snubbers. I know it can be a pain to wire them up, but it is cheap protection.
