Hello,
Few minutes ago I was able to connect to the PLC. I have a BRX BX-DM1E-18AR3.
I tried (all) 3 different USB port on my laptop. I tried OFF/ON the PLC. Still getting those. I know I updated the firmware about few weeks ago or so to 2.7.... I am using the official AutomationDirect USB cable (USB-CBL-AB6)
I don't know what I should do/verify ?
Could it be link to EA9 HMI panel I am trying to connect them together ? (ethernet cable) I disconnected the cable but it doesn't seems to work... I am able to connect to the HMI panel using the USB cable (I transfered a projet without issue)
I am able to make the LED "Blink" on the PLC using the button in software.
It appears you are getting some communication issues, hence there are errors reading up the System Configuration.
So you have a USB POM directly connected to your PC? Disconnect your HMI and any Ethernet cables so that the only thing communicating with your PLC is Designer via the USB POM. Reboot your PC and your PLC.
If you still get errors, power down the PLC and pull out the USB POM and re-insert it and make sure it is well seated, then turn it back on and try again.
I tried rebooting the PC and PLC. Tried pull out/re-insert cable multiples times in differents USB port.
Only thing I am seeing might be in my peripheral configuration (unknown peripheral). To me it might seems a USB driver
issue or something but I remember I installed a driver a while ago... But I can blink the ERR LED. This doesn't "confirm" the connection is good ?
However, I am unsure if it was like that before, not recognized by Windows... (sorry for the French...)
I am running Win7 SP1 x64
I was able to connect using an ethernet cable...
Everything seems ok regarding the version... No new updates exist.
something is wrong with the USB....
I preferred connecting using USB because it's possible to have the HMI panel
connected to the PLC (ethernet) and have my laptop connected to the PLC using USB...
