Hey Guys

I am doing a job on making a Light controller... And my question is I need to dim 200 LED lights with a BRX PLC with 0 to 10v the LED lights Have a dimmer built in to it... So how would i dim 200 lights with my PLC because I sure it would have to much Current for my PLC to handle I'm wondering if there is a controller out there that I give 0 to 10v or even 4 to 20ma and the output would be 0 to 10v so I can control 200 Lights...???

This is not analog, but an easy method to dim a large number of LED lights would be to use PWM Pulse Width Modulation with a large DC solid state relay like AD-SSR6M12-DC-200D .

$17.25 12 Amps.

Calculate the number of LED lights to run in series to match your DC power supply, ie 24vdc.

Put all the lights in series to total that number.

Turn all the strings on and off with the DC solid state relay.

The more on time vs off time, the brighter the group of LEDs will be.

Make sure to calculate the total current required for the power supply and relay capacity.

There are two more DC solid state relays with higher capacity if required.

Levi G what do you mean by where is it being used???

I thought this might be for a Turkey or Chicken facility.

I have used the Intelia controls in a Chicken Barn. I have used various others but these have worked best from a flickering and functionality standpoint. I used the stand alone version but you could go with the slave version. The stand alone version can also be used as a Slave. You just have to supply the analog signal. It simulates the dusk and dawn part very well. You can calibrate it to give the bulbs a boost at turn-on as with some bulbs they need way more power to turn on and then it drops back down to simulate dawn. There is also peak periods to boost feeding.

You could possibly do all this with the BRX but with this control the programming is all done.

Tough luck there, buddy. Usually, LEDs come with a controller so you can manage the power work of your bulbs. But why don't you try something more modern? Last month I bought LED light bulbs from amazon for my backyard. They have smart voice control and other features, and the best thing is that you can connect them to your phone and control them via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, so I don't bother with regular controllers. The bulb has 9w and comes in different lights and colors. Each evening after 7 pm, I set a pleasant warm white light to chill with my friends and family.
