Has there been any considerations in implementing the BACnet protocol in DoMore? I think DoMore would gain instant traction in the market with this capability.

It is one of a couple of protocols on a priority list, but we don't have a specific timeframe. It will happen though.

Until then, you could use a BACnet to Modbus gateway. There are also LON to Modbus gateways.

Are these gateways slave only, or are they also able to master? For slave only, we could probably do a POM variant fairly easily, but for mastering it would need to be a full module.

Just comment on the company rtaautomation. Great company. I used a gateway years ago to connect a Denso Robot controller to a DL260. They were the only company that convert AD's modbus to the Denso. I forget, they told me not all modbus is created equal, so not sure what the difference was, but it worked. Tech support was very good.

I'm fortunate and have a Scada system which talks both Modbus & BACnet.
So integrating DoMore into our existing BAS system has been painless.
But with BACnet becoming the de facto standard, it would appeal to the BA industry much more.
The option of tying a controller into the existing MSTP(BACnet serial) or IP network would very beneficial.
