I have a small machine that I have built many time using MODBUS TCP to communicate to plant control systems for commands and status and it has worked beautifully. Now I have to build the same machine but communications with plant control system using Ethernet IP to ControlLogix/CompactLogix. Here are the steps I have taken: 1. BRX PLC - BRX IP ADDRESS SET TO 192.168.100.20 *Enable and Configure Ethernet IP Explicit Message server Block 1 N200-N215 Class:4 Instance:101 Attribute: 3 Block 2 N216-N231 Class:4 Instance:102 Attribute: 3 Block 3 N232 Class:4 Instance:103 Attribute: 3 2.Compactlogix L32E IP address 192.168.100.10 *Configure New Module Generic Ethernet Module Name:EIPPUMPMOD HOST IP ADDRESS 192.168.100.20 Connection Parameters Input 101 size 16 output 102 size 16 config 103 size 1 The compact logix fails to connect to the BRX PLC Any help would be appreciated.
