I'm looking at an application where I would like to use a barcode scanner with a BRX PLC. What is the best option for interface? Looks like the USB POM can only be used for programming?

The USB on all Do-more systems (BRX, DL205, and Term) is slave only. Devices like bar code readers require a host connection.

We 've played with both Ethernet and serial. Not hard either way.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using handheld scanners so looks like using the RS-232 port is the best option then.

This will be my first Think and Do project. I have tried the software and it seems much more user friendly than DirectSoft so far.

Yeah, Do More. I guess my brain was doing not thinking or thinking not doing. Something like that.
