I can't seem to get our CPU to recognize the formatting of an SD card. I 've tried formatting as FAT32 and exFAT on both a Linux and Windows host. Every time I insert the card the CPU displays the message "Portable Memory Dev Unsupport Format ". SD Card: Lexar 32GD SDHC CPU: P2-550 firmware v1.2.2.69 What am I doing wrong here?

I am assuming you are using a micro SD and if so which speed? 300X, 633X, or 1000X?
i have a couple of class 10 micro SD cards they seem to work fine. Only way I can get that message is to try bigger than 32GB micro SD card.

Not sure about the speed, but the card is a 32GB Micro SDHC. The P2000 manual says it supports cards up to 32GB, but which SD interfaces it supports are not specified ( https://cdn.automationdirect.com/sta...2userm/ch2.pdf , pg. 18).
Would be nice if they'd be more specific about exactly what card and filesystem to use. :P
Edit:
Here's the results of f3probe:
Good news: The device `/dev/mmcblk0 ' is the real thing
Device geometry:
*Usable* size: 29.82 GB (62535680 blocks)
Announced size: 29.82 GB (62535680 blocks)
Module: 32.00 GB (2^35 Bytes)
Approximate cache size: 0.00 Byte (0 blocks), need-reset=no
Physical block size: 512.00 Byte (2^9 Bytes)
Probe time: 3 '17 "
Operation: total time / count = avg time
Read: 458.9ms / 4815 = 95us
Write: 3 '15 " / 4192321 = 46us
Reset: 0us / 1 = 0us

Set the 4 digit password to anything but 0000 for the SD Card.

Tried a couple of 32GB SD cards now and they all work as expected here
See notes in help files P196, P270, & P193 as far as teh size and format
Note: P Series CPUs ONLY support up to a 32GB FAT formatted USB pen drive ( P3 Series ) or MicroSD ( P2 Series ).
