Hello, Very basic questions here. I am just getting started with PLCs, experimenting (trying) with pressure and temperature measurements. I have a P2000, P2-08AD-1 analog input module and the components below. My (apparently incorrect) reading of the RTD transmitter literature is that Pin1, the Brown wire, is connected to say I1+ to the analog input module and Pin2, the White wire, is corrected to common, and that is it. That doesn't work. I did try some other random combinations, and got it to work (I am getting realistic values after conversion), but I want to know what is correct and why. Similar story with pressure, my reading of the wiring diagram is that red goes to say I2+ and black to common, but this isn't correct either. I again got it to work by other random combinations, and applied a known pressure and got the correct reading. Obviously randomly connecting wires is not a method to connect electrical components, so any help filling in the details would be much appreciated. RTD RTD0100-06-010-H Transmitter TTD-20-N40160F-H Cable CD12L-0B-020-A0 Pressure Transmitter SPT25-20-0200A Thank you in advance. Ed

TTD-PIN1 connect to POwer supply +24VDC

    TTD-Pin 2 connect to P2-08AD-1 I1+

    P2-08AD-1 +24 connect to Power supply +24VDC

    P2-08AD-1 0V connect to Power supply 0V

    Thank you GM. That works!
