P2000 to AE9 C-More ethernet connection

I am missing something. I have a P2-550 cpu with an unmanaged ethernet switch connected to a EA9 C-More touch panel. I want to transfer internal bits from the C-More to the P2-550 via ethernet. I have communication from one to the other but the internal boolean bits in the C-More do not turn on the contacts in the P2-550 program. What am I missing ?

Did you export the tag database from the P2000 and import into the Cmore? If you created tags manually what was the device name, Tag Data type, Memory type and Address set to for the bits you are trying to turn on in the plc?
If you are using an internal tag in the Cmroe you will have to create another tag to the plc device and memory location and then use device manager to create an event to turn on the plc tag. It is easier to just create a tag directly to the plc or export tag database from P2 and import to Cmore and use the tag to the device that you want to turn on/off
