I have been using the DL06 PLC's for some time now, without any problems. In the last year I have started to use the P2000 PLC's and have had continually problems. The latest one is where five of the devices turned off without warning. When I went to check for faults it was showing a Watchdog timeout E03901 on all of them. They are located in different parts of the factory and are not connected, apart from being connected to the network. I have a few Clicks and a lot of 06 PLC's but it was only the P2000 which shut down. I assume something on the network caused the problem but how do I find the problem so as to prevent it from happening again. All the firmwares have been updated in the last few weeks.

It’s difficult to say what exactly is causing the errors. We have seen similar issues when there is a broadcast storm on your Ethernet network and we are currently working on improvements to make the PLCs less susceptible to this type of network traffic. For a more specific analysis, please contact our tech support staff and send a system report (connect to the PLC with the programming software and go to Help> Create System Report).
