I have two comments about the Productivity Suite that I'd like to point out:

1. When in Data View, and you'd like to enter a zero to an integer tag, I must place a different number of value (1,2,9, etc.), hit enter, then place a zero before it will accept zero.

2. Search and replace. It would be nice if it followed Windows convention, and in the program editing window, you could just go to the next instance of a tag (to see if its one you wish to replace), and pick replace, & the software then scan to the next instance of the searched tag. I mean the check boxes "may be " more efficient, but I'm not certain of every instance of the tag is one I wish to replace, and in its current format, I end up hitting "CNTL-F " a lot, which just takes more time.

When the dataview Enable Auto Edits is turned on this is done on purpose so that as you leave one tag field to go to another ( by enter, mouse, or arrow key) it does not send something you do not intend to send. The Edit column looks for a change and then when you leave that tag field it will write the new value. So if you had 20 tags in dataview and all had values in them and you wanted to change the 10th tag, but the cursor was on the 1st tag and ) was in the edit field of the 1st tag you would have to put the current value of the first tag in and then select the tag you wanted to change so you would not change the value in the first tag. Rather than change the value to something other than 0 and then back to 0 you can click on the send edit icon in the top menu.

2. I understand what you mean by the Windows convention, but I do not understand why you are having to hit CNTL-F a lot. Are you having to close the find replace window? We could add a next button to the window, but if you are closing it due to space that would not help. If the find replace window is open you can double on each found instance and it will go to the location it was found. If it is a location you wish to change leave the box checked, if not then uncheck the box. Another option to see which ones you wish to keep or delete is to use the cross reference window which is much smaller.

2. Yes, the find/replace takes up half of my screen on my laptop, so I end up closing it. I probably should just grab it and move it to a place where I can still see the logic.

We suspected you may be on a laptop and it was covering too much of the screen. We have on our list to make all windows modal so you could choose a rung and minimize the find replace. We also have talked about window tabs. So we understand the frustration of having a small screen and a lot of windows and are trying to work to make it more user friendly.
