I have a P3-08AD card that I 've set up in the software for 0-20mA. I have the Ziplink ZL-RTB20 wired correctly. I have no errors on the LCD. In data view the under range flag is checked because I can't see any 4-20 sensor input. If I set the card up for 0-10 or any other voltage I read fine. I am trying to source a 4-20mA signal to ch1 from a Fluke 744 process meter. If I take 24vdc + to I1 and then the positive lead from the meter to I1 and the negative to -24 I can't read anything. I think I should see the sourced current on I1. What am I doing wrong?? Any Ideas why I can't read current on this card? Much appreciate any thoughts Thanks

As shown on page 49 of the meter's manual
Connect meter red lead to the +24 volt supply
Connect meter black lead to the I1+ input
Jumper I1+ to V1+
Use the 'simulate transmitter ' function on the meter.
You should be able to regulate current into the first channel and see its reading from within the software.
Note: change the '1 ' in the above terminal names to whichever input your are testing.

Thanks, the problem was that I was jumpering I+ to 24vdc. I needed to jump I+ to V1+
The manual that comes with the card is not real clear on that. Thank you
