I have looked at my PAC help file and searched this forum for a little while. I cannot find any text referring to the limit of the system data tag Clock Years . The upper limit is 2035. I hope that these controllers will last twenty+ years. I can set the Clock Years Set tag higher, it simply does not update the Clock Years tag. No error, no FAIL TO SET CLOCK message in the event log. two controllers, two software revs 1. SW ver 1.5.1(2) FW 1.1.11.18 2. SW ver 1.6.1(6) FW 1.1.12.14 I was attempting to do some testing on a TimeDiff function.

Wouldn't 'Clock Hours ' be limited to 0-23? I know that in 'C ' you can put all sorts of numbers into an update and the system will massage them but I don't see that this system will do this. Were you trying to add like a month of hours then call the 'set ' and have it correct everything? I believe valid information must be in every field.

2035 for YEARS makes some sense. Look up the UNIX year problem set to hit around then (except I thought it was 2038).

And an answer to the un-asked follow-on question.
The default year for the PAC IS... wait for it 1970.
The date is probably Thursday Jan 1.
Oh, well, unless this is really the second-half of the Mayan calendar, we won't need to worry about it anyway!:D
