Is there a limit to how many High Speed Input/Output Modules can be used? I have an application where I would like to control 4 axis using quadrature encoder input and pulse/direction output. Here is the real question, is it possible to control two of the axis simultaneously, in other words control their positions exactly in relation to one another? In my case to make it more difficult there would be a gearing difference between the two. Seems tricky, if it can be done can you provide a brief description of how you think it could be programmed?

That should be fine.

No, coordinated motion is not currently supported. The only way it might be possibly done is by registration. I would suggest calling or emailing technical support with some exact details on what you are trying to accomplish for a definitive answer.
