I have tried about all I can think of to get an email or text out of my EA9T6CL. RTE 42 The addresses themselves are good. Can someone send me to a video link or whatever other that would help me. Thanks

RTE-42 is 'bad email entered in address book ' error.

Surely the CMORE has NOT verified the email address but just doesn't like the format, so I would double-check the email address format.

Would that be a different format than what I use for Outlook or Gmail? They work when I copy and paste the address to my email.

No. So that is ruled out, then.

Have you set the IP addresses for the primary and alternate DNS servers. You can use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

This is accessed in the Panel Network settings. Main menu | Setup | Panel Network...

Look at the Ethernet Port tab on the left.

I'll be releasing a video on Monday for the C-More EA9 sending email to a Gmail account.

I hope this helps you out.

    Regards,

    Garry

I had thought I tried the DNS servers, but changed those and another item. I now get a notice from Google saying a less secure app is attempting to access my account. Almost immediate on my 'alarm ' working. Google is blocking it.
