I am trying to record data from a Click C0 and CMore EA9 to the USB. The data is in DS registers and the logging is triggered by a C tag. I can see the data change in the Click dataview but there is no data logged to the USB. I also have a screen button with tag SYS COPY LOGTOUSB. Does the trigger tag need to be maintained or is a momentary contact OK? I also tried the screen button with SYS USB EJECT.

Do you have a trend graph set up?

the way i do it is put the data in a trend graph and under the options tap there is a save log data check mark

Yes, sorry I didn't mention that. The trend graph is setup with the C tag trigger and the USB save location.

The trigger I was using was too quick. I changed to a maintained bit and it logs properly now.

For future reference, triggers need to stay on for around 300ms at a minimum. Some objects may need a longer trigger time than that for it to be seen.

Thanks. Is it possible to use dynamic text for the datalog filename? It defaults to something like "Screen1_LineTrendGraphName_181029 "

I would like it to include information that is user entered; (i.e. Lot Number or Batch Number)
