EA7-S6M not responding to programming USB

We are trying to update the screens on an EA7-S6M HMI, however, it refuses to show as "Connected " to the laptop. The cable and USB port on the laptop are confirmed good, as they had just recently been used successfully to update the program on a DO-More PLC in the same machine. What could be causing this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the CMore USB driver is installed?
And that you know what COM port the CMore is using so that you can select it in the program when you go to send it to the panel?

Typically, this will either be a USB driver issue (not installed or installed from a zipped folder) or security.
Security: Disable the Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, and any Anti-Virus software you having running on the machine.
Installation: Make sure you install the driver from an unzipped folder. Do not have the cable plugged into your PC during installation. The install wizard will warn you about this. Once installed, reboot and check Control Panel> Programs and Features: to be sure the driver is present.
