Clear Message Log File

I 've spent the better part of this morning looking for a way to clear the Message Log File in a cmore EA9. I am currently using it to store a log of specific events (cycle completed, user logon/logoff, etc) and cant find a way to clear this log. Any ideas? The SYS DELETE ALL LOG tag seems to have no effect to this situation.
