I'm having an issue and hoping another might have figured this out. I have a project in Connected Components Workbench Standard (CCW) for a Micro 820, which connects via Ethernet to a C-more EA9-T7CL-R. The problem I'm having is the C-more does not take the CCW exported tags. When importing, it rejects all of them. Now, this "may be " due to my not choosing the "right " exporting method in CCW, but how does one know? I'd hate to write the tags for both environments.

I haven't done what you want, but I usually create an appropriate tag or two in Cmore and export it to see what it wants to see. Then shuffle PLC's export if needed in Excel or other spreadsheet and import to Cmore.

Thanks, I'll take a look.
Edit: So it appears that I'll have to make ALL MY TAGS global in CCW to import them? I write this as I notice I cannot figure out 'how " to get CCW to export all the tags; global and local. Thanks Rockwell, you 're a peach.

When following the instructions, I get a pop-up window labelled Tag Name Database Log View and the following error message: Error GUI-179: File does not contain any valid Records.

So true! Plus the "benefit " of having to pay for technical support, and the mark-up of the local distributor who adds zero value. So, why can't I charge-back for the stress they cause? AD> Rockwell.
