I have recently decided to change a control that we use for a product line from the Toshiba MDR series plc and toshiba osi interface to a direct logic 05 series plc and the c-more interface. The process Im controlling is very simple, only two functions that require a time cycle that is changable from the interface. Maybe a few messages depending on the status of the process, "Tank Filling " , Tank Mixing, Tank Draining Alarm condition ect. I do not program on a regular basis and once the program is done modifications are not really done very often. Im having trouble getting program examples that show how the ladder logic should be written to create the screens and accept the time values. I tried downloading examples from the Automation Direct, Direct Logic site but I cant get them to load in my DirectSoft32 software. Anybody have any ideas on how I can get sample programs that show the correct ladder logic????

That doesn't happen. Cmore uses its own software .

Which examples? It may be that Directsoft32 is TOO old for the examples. Directsoft is NOW at ver 6.0c. If your program is as simple as stated above, you may be able to use the DS6 100-WORD limit version for free.
--------Yeah, it doesnt make sense to me either that (*more capable) software (CLICK, DoMore, PAC) from the same vendor IS FREE, but we still buy DirectSoft.--------

Thank you. I will have to decide if I want to upgrade my software or just find a programmer to write this program for me. I only have a couple controls that use the D05 plc, Im not sure I want to go thru the learning curve to be proficient at doing the ladder logic myself.

You didn't mention exactly which example programs. Someone here may convert one or more to pdf for you to browse/enter into your editor version.
If your version works and your 'license ' is valid, it WOULD be a cost savings to use it.
--Then there is the ~$100 of CMore software.
