Objet Layer List V6.3

I love the Object layer list for finding and editing overlapping objects:) when It works.:mad: It works every time this window is first opened but then it will fail to show anything after awhile. Occasionally it wont show anything in the "All Object " tab. Closing the window and reopening will start it working again. Is this a known issue? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

It appears to only happen when the Object layer list is unpinned. If I pin the list open and then click on an object it will populate the list. With it unpinned it will not always populate the list.

Win 7, 32 or 64 bit?
When you say unpinned, do you mean it appears as a tab at the bottom or are you meaning undocked? A screen shot showing the location of the windows and the problem would be great.

In both cases you have the Overlapping Objects Tab selected. This list will be blank if you have an object selected that has no other objects overlapping.
Since you said the same object is selected in both screen shots, I don't think this is the cause.
But to be on the safe side. Can you attach the same screen shots only with the All Objects tab selected?

Thanks for being responsive. I glad to see AD patrolling and answering questions on this forum.
BTW, the "object layer list " would be a great place to be able to edit position and size properties. They are listed there but cannot be changed. I think the only place they can be changed is in the "property list "

Keep in mind this is not a Tech Support Forum, but a Customer support forum. We do watch the forum for potential problems with the products, but not consistently. Your best bet is calling or emailing Tech Support.
Glad the Object Layer List is a useful tool for you. There are a lot of folks that agree with you on the editing of the values in the Object Layer List. Thanks for the feedback.

Did you try highlighting several objects then press F4. You can edit color, words, size etc.
