Retentive Memory Question

I set my EA9 up to use a text entering field to a retentive address on the cmore. I entered text and after a POR it didnt retain the text. Am I doing something wrong? Should I store the info on my DoMore instead? Thanks

You need to store the value in DoMore, because the PLC is overwriting the value the Cmore is trying to save.

I stopped using internal tags a long time ago because retentive is not always retentive. I do not what a POR is but I know all internal tags are cleared with a download to the panel. Do as plcnut says and save them to the PLC where retentive is retentive.
