AB Kinetix 300 Drive

I have a machine that currently has a EA9 10inch on it. We upgraded to that last year. We now want to Change part of the line to a servo. I already have a AB Kinetix 300 Drive and the corresponding indexing servo. Is there any reason that the this combo would not work? Im just starting to dig into everything im going to need. I want to make sure that I don't need another servo or another HMI to make this work. Thank you in advance.

You haven't given us much to go on. What PLC is the C-More currently talking to? Is the Kinetix servo drive capable of communicating with that PLC? If so, all you would need to do is get the information you need from the servo drive into the PLC and add some additional tags to the C-More to display or modify servo data. If the servo can't directly communicate with the PLC, can the C-More communicate with it?

Its a Micrologix 1100 PLC. The servo and and PLC is communicating. I have never programed a servo so I am learning as I go. In all the tutorials. They always talk about a PanelView HMI.

If the C-More is already successfully communicating with the PLC, the addition of a servo won't have any impact. As I said in the earlier post, you will need to add tags to the C-More application to display the servo data on the HMI. Once you know where in the PLC's memory the servo data is located that part will be easy.
