I have a P3K and an EA9 paired together. I would like to add the ability for an operator to set the clock to my "system " screen on the EA9. How is this accomplished? I see in the P3K CPU that there are different 16 bit INTs for the different date/time fields, one being a "set ". Guessing this comes into play... Tanks for any help.

Topic P182 in the P3K help file shows you how to do this using the Set Date/Time instruction. The application example for the help file shows using a Cmore HMI to change just the day tag. However you can change Year. Month, Day, Hour, Minute, or Seconds

Thanks, I'll check it out.
On the C-More, is there a way I can use one main data entry box (something tailored towards date/time setting), or would I need 6 different numeric entry boxes?

You can enter the time and date in a string and then write logic in the PLC to extract the data.

Entering the time/date as a string sounds like the right way to do it. Any good examples of this? I 've honestly never really worked with a string. Thanks!
