Does the C-More use UDP or TCP to send the email. For some reason I remember someone telling me that TCP will allow the sender to recieve confirmation of the email recieved where UDP does not. It this true?

I have no specific knowledge of C-more, but the normal SMTP protocol is TCP. The statement about TCP providing acknowledgement is really a generalization about the TCP protocol layer vs UDP, and doesn't have anything to do with the higher level protocol (SMTP).
TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a stream-centric protocol where delivery is guaranteed by a try/ack/retry mechanism, invisible to the higher level, and UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is a packet-centric protocol where there is no try/ack/retry mechanism and the upper level protocol is required to create such. All of Do-more's programming protocols (for example) are UDP based, but are guaranteed delivery by higher level checks and retries.

I was hoping that the answer to my emails sometimes not being sent would be a settings issue or something similar. Its kind irritating when the emails don't make it to their destination.

Can't say. Don't have any experience with email on C-more.
