converted EA7 to EA9 interface is fuzzy?

Title pretty much says it all. I opened an interface made for an EA7 panel in the new version 5 software. It converted it and I made the tag changes necessary for the new PLC program. I just uploaded it to the EA9 touchscreen and everything looks out of focus. I'm certain it's not the display itself as its splash screen looks fine. I'm guessing it has something to do with the different resolutions of the two displays but I'm not sure what to change.

You guess correctly. since in most cases the EA9 has a higher resolution than the same size EA7 the display has to be scaled which tends to result in some fuzziness.
As to what to change, basically everything, any raster images (bitmaps) should be recreated in the higher resolution, or at the least resized in an application (e.g. Photoshop or Gimp) that has a better scaling algorithm. All controls ought to be resized individually in the programing software with the screen set to its native resolution.

It depends on several items.
What size of the original project?
What size did you convert to?
Did you pick the default resolution? If not, what did you pick?
What objects are fuzzy? Text, Graphics, be specific.
I suggest calling Technical support with the answers. Be ready to send them your original project. There may be a better way to open/convert your project that does not result in it appearing fuzzy.
