I have not had this problem, I had 3 versions back on the same P.C. with XP sp3. I always installed each version in a different directory, and store my programs in my documents under the customers folder so I don't have to search for it in each versions project folder. I also put the version number in the file name so I know which one to use. If I can get to the customers site I always upgrade the firmware to the latest on the touchscreen, CPU, drives, etc, but some customers due to distance (some in Europe, Asia and all over the US) I use VPN to work on their systems. I will not upgrade firmware over a VPN connection. I got a new Win 7 PC (I ordered it with the down grade to Win 7, I hate windows 8) about 3 months ago and I have 4 versions of C-More on it setup the same way I did the XP box. Try installing them in different directories, maybe that is the problem..?

I followed the instructions while doing the 2.8 upgrade and told it I need to maintain my earlier version during the install. But it wiped out my 2.72 installation and everything is 2.8 now after the upgrade.

When you ask the installer to "Maintain " an earlier version, That means instead of installing a separate new version, it will perform "maintenance " on the old version (In other words: it will be upgraded to the new version).

I need to maintain my 2.72 C-more installation and also be able to install a newer version on the same PC (2.8).

What is the exact installation procedure for maintaining multiple versios of C-more programming software on the same PC.
