cmore hmi panel using wifi

Just want to know if anybody tried connecting cmore apps directly to the hmi panel using wifi only without using the internal network. I already tried the cmore apps but have to connect to our network first before i can get access.

Seeing as the cMore is not wifi, there must be an access point somewhere.

2 Thoughts....
1. Depending upon what you are controlling with the C-more,this is a potentially non rock solid/risky communication method.
2. C-more has a web server included and you can use another computer (I use my Laptop which is on the wifi network) to view/control the c-mores I have on the Cat-5 network.

The cmore is connected to a machine and it main purpose is as a display and monitor only. To run the machine we still have to do it manually with a switch and a knob to turn it on or off. I already tried installing a wifi adapter to the cmore after i configure the adapter and cmore to connect to the internet network in my shop. i download the cmore app to my ipad and connected to the shop wifi. It work great i can see it real time when i run the cmore apps in my ipad. My problem is if the machine have no internet connection. I want to run the apps in my ipad using direct link to cmore panel using wifi signal without the need to connect to the internet first. I can probably use the method with direct wifi if im using my laptop or computer. but i want to use the cmore apps in my ipad instead of a regular computer. Any suggest and help is greatly appreciated. thanks

If you want to connect to the Cmore via the web, then you must enter your routers WAN IP address into the app.
If you want to connect to the Cmore locally, then you must enter the Cmore IP address into the app.

Where can i find the cmore ip address

From the Cmore programming software go to the "Function " Tab on the left.
Click "Touch Panel Network ", then click the "Ethernet Port " tab.
You will find the address there.
If you don't have the software then you can try using the "browse " function in the Cmore app from your local network to see if it will find it.

Finally got it to work. I can used the cmore apps wthout internet connection. wifi only. thanks for the help.
