Well this is the third panel that has flickered. The first two flickered at random. It would come an go with no apparent cause. Tried them in different panels with different power supplies and no difference. Put a known good screen in the same panels and no flickering. One bad screen was a while ago. One just recently. The replacement came and it flickers for a bit when the back light first comes on but doesn't seem to flicker after that (not that anyone has noticed anyway). So do we need to be concerned this flickering at start up is a sign of trouble down the road? Anyone else notice this flickering?

I have had flicker problems with the 15 " Cmores (2 of them).
I have not opened one up yet, but it "appears " to be a poor connection to the backlight that is exasperated by any twist or bends in the mounting surface. I have not had time to investigate any deeper, it is very annoying though.

Please contact Technical Support about this issue. We have. No answers other than send it back for exchange. Do you have a direct number to someone who is well suited to address this flickering issue?
We just ordered three control panels for an job and I guess we'll have to have the panel shop send the CMores to us for testing prior to the panel builds. :(

The basics you may have heard from Tech Support are:
Is the panel grounded?
Does it have a dedicated 1.5 A power supply?
Does the panel flicker when bench tested, or only when installed in a enclosure? If not, then it is something with the installation (could be exasperating an issue with the panel).
We are not aware of anything kind of "poor connection " with the backlight. It is a pretty solid connection and as a matter of fact user accessible so that the backlights can be field replaceable.

Update.
The only recommendation from tech support was to use a dedicated power supply. In our case this has made no difference in the screen flicker.
We received three new CMores for testing from the panel builder for the next job. One had NO noticeable flicker at power up or any other time. One had some minor flicker at power up which cleared up quickly (in seconds) and seemed ok all other times. The third had annoying flicker at power up.
The third CMore flickered the worst after being powered down for a minute or two and then being powered back up. About 20 seconds after power is applied the flickering started and was the most intense. It gradually got better until it is no longer noticeable. Times varied from just over a minute to over four minutes for the flickering to abate. The flickering at power up is bad enough, but the screen also started flickering after an hour or so of operation. So far there is no noticeable pattern. Sometimes its fine other times it flickers. Go figure.
Testing was performed with only the screen connected to the power supply and no other connections (nothing else connected to the power supply nor the CMore). Testing was also performed with the screen, plc and sensors all driven from the same power supply. No difference in flickering behavior either way. The screens were placed in the door opening with two clips just barely snug by hand.
Questions:
1. Is this screen flicker at power up within the “normal” range of operation?
2. If yes, why do some CMores flicker while others do not?
3. Is the random flicker during operation fall under “normal” operation?
4. Can the CMore’s user programming have any impact on the flicker? (all three CMores had the same firmware and user installed program).
5. Most importantly, is the screen flicker at power up a sign of weak bulbs or issues with the bulb driving circuitry and an indication the CMore is more likely to exhibit random screen flicker as it ages?

Flicker of any kind is not normal under any circumstances with proper installation.

Got the same problem...
Mine didn't start the Flicker until 6 months after installation. It's intermittent and seems to be worse in colder weather (our shop is not climate controlled).

Is your panel a EA7-T15C?

Yessir it is indeed. Isn't that the Model in question that we are ALL talking about on this thread?
