Hello, We have a 8 foot tall tank and would like to record the level of the tank back to the HMI. Any recommendations on level switches to accomplish this? Thank you.

Do you need a continuous readout, ie percentage, etc., or just a few discrete points?

Look for Ultrasonic Level Transmitters for continuous variable level sensing. They will require an analog input on the PLC to match though. AD has some in the catalog.

ADC just launched some new ultrasonic level sensors:

There are several other new ones that will work at that tank depth.
