I have a C-more EA1-S3ML that I want to connect to a USB port for programming. I have and use a GoldX GXMU-1201 USB to 9pin serial adapter I use for programming the Click PLC. Is there a cable I can make up for this connection. The manual and the website refer to a different USB to Serial adapter and a serial cable with modular connectors on both ends. I need a 9pin to rj12.

In normal operation the EA1 gets its power through the communication cable from the PLC. When you program the CMore Micro it obviously is not connected to the PLC. Therefore the programming cable must provide its power. Thus there is the special USB adapter for this unit which not only feeds data but also power to the panel. Make sure to label it for use ONLY in programming the CMore Micro.
I haven't seen a serial port to CMore Micro programming cable.

The EA-MG-PGM-CBL will work with both the Cmore Micro and the Click PLC without issues. I have also used it on the DL 05.
