I am new to the C-More Micro HMI. I am using a Automation Direct Click PLC. I am beginning to start the project and I am wondering how to find the PLC tags to start to place my graphs , numeric displays , etc. Do you drill down to the , I guess the .CKP file to grab the tags offline or do I wait to go online and take them from the plc. I am used to the RS View environment. Could someone give me some step by step instruction on how to set this up , like a tag database. Thanks so much , have a great weekend.

From the Click project choose File - Export - Nicknames to create a CSV file. Import that in CMore Micro by File - Import. Then you will ahve a populated database.
Thus it is best to concentrate on the PLC first then on the display.

Thanks for the information. That did work , but how come I am not able to get all the tags from the Click PLC. I only have a few tags avalable in the tag base. No Timers , counters , physical inputs or outputs , etc. Just a few internal bits C1 - C9. I get alot of "Tag with TagName and Address T1 -- Unable to add to TagData Base " What would be the reason why I can not import all the tags from the Click PLC ?
