Old HMI 6 " Cmore-Micro EA1-S6MLW New HMI 6 " Cmore EA7-S6M I would like to upgrade our HMI from a Cmore-Micro 6 " to a Cmore grayscale 6 ". Is there a simple way to do this or is a complete reprogram in my future? Thanks for any info, Jeff in Florida

Unfortunately it is a complete reprogram. Even though there is quite a bit of similarity between the software packages, there is just too much difference to be able to migrate between the two.

Well then can I at least import the tag name data base?

I have not used the micro software, but you should be able to use the export tag name database, (probably under the file menu) save the file to a known location and then import that same file into the C-more software via File>Import>Tag name database, browse to the file previously exported from the micro and you should have it.

It seemed to work in a small test I just did. Export from CMore Micro - Import into CMore.

Yes the Cmore will accept a .csv file generated from a Cmore-micro and the tags will be populated in the tag data base. This greatly reduces the programming effort.
